Raised in a beautiful college town, I attended school in Madison from Elementary until high school graduation.

I attended school in Milwaukee, WI and obtained a B.S. in education with minors in math and literature. After graduation, I taught math in Milwaukee's urban schools for 2 years.
I took a position in a small International school in Venezuela for two years, teaching 6th grade math and science, as well as an 11th grade college prep math course.
After conditions became very unstable in Venezuela, I returned to Madison and taught bilingual Algebra at West H.S. while preparing for my next step.
Studying hard for a year and a half, I taught math full time at Murchison M.S. while learning about assessment and Computational Thinking at UT-Austin.
Began my content development with graduate research and curriculum design. My graduate studies were only the first step on a journey to discover and innovate in the field of technology education
Founded Launch Code After School after a couple years of experience as an instructional designer. Had the opportunity to create a software and instructional content product while becoming a part of the startup community.
in 2019 started working full time with software companies doing Instructional Design, after 5 years of experience with contract and startup positions.
The product of many of my own challenges can be found in the portfolios on my website, and in the thousands of pages of curriculm, hundreds of hours of videos, and other written and multimedia content that this website is the embodiment of.
